About Me
My creative journey began in the visual arts. In 2012, I graduated from VJVDM Art School, where I built a strong foundation in both aesthetics and technique across different artistic disciplines. During that time, I learned discipline, a sense of form, and respect for the creative process.
I was shaped by color, light, and structure — how they interact and create mood. Although I no longer live by the sea, coastal landscapes and constantly shifting light remain some of my strongest inner visual references.
After graduating, I worked at the Lithuanian National Drama Theatre starting in 2012. This period fundamentally changed my understanding of the stage.
Working behind the scenes, traveling with the theatre, and participating in international tours allowed me to closely observe how performances are created. I saw how details — light, movement, sound, silence — come together into a unified experience.
Being between stage mechanics and live performance taught me that art is not only an idea, but also structure, discipline, and responsibility.

At the same time, my relationship with music was growing stronger. The rhythm that once appeared in painting through brushstrokes and layers of color found its physical form in the drums.
After several intense creative years in Lithuania, I made a conscious decision to move to Scotland in search of growth within a broader, international environment.
I spent nearly a decade in Scotland. During that time, I actively performed, created music, worked in studios, and gained extensive live experience.
This period was both technically and mentally shaping. Living abroad taught me to adapt, learn quickly, and be prepared for any situation on stage. Music became not just a form of expression, but also a profession, responsibility, and daily work.
In 2023, I returned to Lithuania with a clear goal: to continue creating in my home country. I settled in Vilnius and quickly became part of the local music scene.
I joined Elnio Rago Miškas and later Protocol F40.1. These projects are very different, yet equally important to me. One focuses on atmosphere, subtlety, and emotional dynamics; the other on intensity, physical endurance, and structural power.

Alongside my live performance work, I teach drum lessons at Lukiškės Prison 2.0.
In teaching, I focus not only on technique, but on understanding — rhythm, structure, and sound space. I believe a drummer is not just a timekeeper, but someone who shapes the architecture of music.
Visual art has never disappeared from my life. In painting, I’m still drawn to abstract pointillism — layers of color, rhythmic structures, and a sense of pulse on canvas.
I’m deeply connected to the idea that both music and painting are built on the same principles:
rhythm, dynamics, tension, and release.
The difference is that in music, sound moves through time — while in painting, color remains still in space.

I am both an artist and a musician.
My path — from art school and theatre backstage to international stages and returning to Lithuania — has been a continuous search for form, energy, and authenticity.
Today, my main focus is music, but all my previous experiences — theatre, visual art, and life abroad — remain an essential part of what I create.
